Summer’s over, back to Tumbling
Some bits and pieces. Yesterday I did some quick lettering work for the nice folks at YCN, to be included in an animation pitch for NSPCC. The theme of the project was “bullying”, and they needed some harsh words illustrated in context. See below! Thanks to Nick Defty, this was great lettering practice for me.
I’m in a group exhibition hosted by Raw Design Studio, in celebration of their 5th birthday. The theme was “Birthday”. Show opens today in Salford, UK. Here is the website for the event, along with all the contributors. Thanks to Ruth Watson for the invite.
Last month I released a poster with the fantastic 1200 Posters, a year-long print series that focuses on collaboration and community. Each artist is given a piece of text from the Margaret Wheatley poem, “Turning to One Another” to work with. This is such a great project, and I can’t wait to see the series complete.
